Sound engineering principles and full team collaboration throughout the design and construction process are key to successful projects. Owner project goal reviews, design stage planning, review of system phasing to minimize disruptions, and adherence to project budget are planned and monitored throughout the project. We foster collaboration among all project stakeholders and partners. This is how Garner Fritsche Engineering (GFE) promotes and sustains long term relationships with all clients.
At GFE, the Project Manager/Lead Engineer is the single point of contact from the beginning of the project design through the end of construction. Once the project goes into the construction phase, continued leadership by the Project Manager ensures continuity and in depth knowledge of the project.
All personnel at GFE have the experience of past projects varying from new construction to complicated renovations in existing facilities. As it is critical to understand the existing conditions in a facility, prior to the start of project design, GFE personnel will visit the site and become familiar with the existing systems. GFE will utilize existing drawings and interview key facility personnel in order to better understand the existing conditions and how they influence the current project design. The Principals of the firm remain involved on all projects as a resource to the project managers and design staff by attending meetings and reviewing project documentation from conceptual design through construction and final project closeout.
Education and training are an integral part of our company’s growth. Monthly design meetings allow our experienced engineers to share their knowledge of MEP systems, building codes and construction processes with the entire design staff.
