Emerus Community Hospital and Emergency Center, Hausman, TX
The 38,750 SF two-story facility consists of a Licensed Hospital on the first floor and Medical Office space on the second floor. The hospitals specialize in Emergency Services and include X-Ray and CT Scan diagnostic imaging services, (8) eight exam rooms in the Emergency Department and (8) eight in-patient beds in the Nursing Unit. At Emerus, the goal is to have patients seen by a physician within 15 minutes or less, or the visit is free. Patients that need to be admitted for observation can stay in a private or semi-private room of their choosing. If the patient requires surgery or has severe trauma, they are transported with an ambulance to a major medical facility, or in cases of extreme emergency, air-lifted (at facilities that have a helipad, such as Overlook). Currently there are four facilities under construction in the northern suburbs of San Antonio. The building exteriors are contemporary and designed to stand out, albeit fitting in with their surrounding residential neighborhoods. Interiors are comfortable, inviting and aid in creating a sense of comfort and healing. Memorial Hermann Emergency Center, Woodlands, TX

The full-service, state-of-the-art lab will provide quality and convenience for the community, including the ability to run 1,500 tests per hour. “This is a great asset for The Woodlands area,” said Jude Malican, M.D., medical director of Memorial Hermann 24 HR Emergency Care. “We aren’t limited to just providing emergency care; all of our services are 24/7 and, with a doctor’s order, anyone can use our facility at their convenience to have imaging and lab tests completed by Memorial Hermann, a trusted healthcare provider.” The 12,000 SF center will provide patient- and family-centered care, giving family members the ability to wait near patients and follow them throughout the facility instead of staying behind in the waiting room. Patients can have digital imaging and quick tests performed at the center, then return to their physician with the results.
